The Living Frontier: Flora, Fauna, & Wildlife
This collection is a tactile love letter to the heartbeat of the American West. By combining the stark truth of black-and-white photography with the rich, sensory layers of hot encaustic, cold wax, and vibrant pigments, each piece brings the quiet details of the frontier to life.
From the rugged power of native wildlife to the delicate resilience of desert flora and fauna, these mixed-media originals capture the delicate balance of the wild. The molten depth of the wax acts as a preservation layer, freezing these fleeting moments of western nature into permanent, textured monuments.
